Nutrition after stomach balloon is a very important process, requiring discipline and patience. It should not be forgotten that the main goal in this process is, adopting the healthy nutrition as a life style. Since the first two weeks after the stomach balloon will be adaptation process, usually a menu containing liquid foods is always a savior.

In later stages, nutrition should be based on the portion control and should be planned in the form of 5-6 meals and according to the volume of the stomach. Processed, refined, ready, high carbohydrate, salty, acidic and alcoholic foods should be avoided.

The individual should be taught how to eat, what to eat, when to eat and to eat with small bites as a habit. After this application, strict follow-up will increase the percentage of success of the person and motivation.
